Belt Levels and Requirements
We have 10 belt levels in our style. Each belt level is called a gup. White belt is 10th gup. White with a black stripe is 9th gup. This continues up to brown belt with black stripe, which is 1st gup. The next test is for a black belt. Below are links to the specific requirements for testing at each belt level. Each level requires a form, self defenses, and proficiency in sparring. Our class starts sparring at white belt level.
